This is fine primitive candlestick, 'Birdcage' or 'Stable' type of candle holder, made from forged iron, mounted with its turned wood base, genuine but with traces of wear. Candlestick could be holding on a barrel with its forged hook, candle could slide along a pillar system of 6 columns, rare to find!!
Dimensions: about 10ins x 3ins = 26cm x 18cm.
Condition: Is excellent, there is no serious flaw, no crack, all is original and untouched, we only mention normal wear, as you can see on our detailed pictures.
