This is stunning rectangular copper stewpot, with 3 iron forged handles, inside tined, in good condition, no copper appears. This pot was used in fireplaces. Hand hammer worked, built in a thick red copper. Cover is hollowed with high borders: it was used to contain water on, what allowed the cooking to be very smooth. This cover shuts on body correctly . On bottom and one side, traces of dovetailed mounting, proof of antique hand working. Fine to find kitchen collection item!

Voici une belle daubière ou rôtisseuse couverte rectangulaire, couvercle à cuvette pour condensation, en cuivre rouge, bien épaisse, travaillée à la main, au marteau. 2 belles poignées fer forgé, une sur le couvercle, belle taille, bien étamée à l'intérieur, montage à queue d'aronde, le couvercle ferme bien, un bel objet ancien!
Travail Français, datant du XIXe siècle, un bel objet de cuisine que nous garantissons authentique.
